These last days have been pretty much the same. Flu has been bad, so just staying in, eating and resting (note my favorite ice cream ever: white chocolate with licorice), wearing the same clothes all day all night (whoops), and trying to get my home project further. I’ve been waking up every morning before 6AM, but luckily I have curtains now, so I hope that will help me sleep longer. But usually I’m used to sleeping in light rooms, so I don’t think that’s the main reason. I’m so sensitive to react to stress with sleep problems, that waking up early cycle is evil! Now I’m finally feeling tiny bit better, I’m spending the night at my parents, I’ve been eating well (for once not takeaway) and I’m hoping to end that sleep problem cycle here. Tomorrow fingers crossed I’ll feel better and am able to have that night out! Now I can’t wait to go to bed and just sleeep, I’m so in need of it. Have an hopefully amazing weekend everyone! ♥
Nämä viimepäivät ovat olleet aika samanlaisia. Flunssa on ollut paha, joten kotoa ei ole tullut juuri poistuttua. On vain tullut levättyä, juotua teetä ja tankattua vitamiinejä (ja no vähän muutakin, huomatkaa kuvassa parhain jätski ikinä, valkosuklaa-salmiakki classic), pidettyä samoja vaatteita yötpäivät (hups), ja yritettyä saada kotiprojektiani vähän eteenpäin. Oon heräillyt joka aamu ennen aamukuutta, mutta nyt on onneksi verhotangot asennettu ja verhot paikallaan, luulisi sen auttavan. Luulen kyllä, ettei tuohon heräilyyn ole pääsyynä valoisuus, oon tottunut aina nukkumaan valoisassa, vaan jonkunlainen stressi/aivojen yliaktiivisuus. Haha… Reagoin niin herkästi stressiin uniongelmilla, ja sitten jää päälle se kierre että aina herää liian aikaisin. Oon ollut aika kuollut univajeiden ja flunssan yhdistelmästä, mutta tänään tunsin jo että nyt mennään parempaan. Toivon niin että huomenna illalla oon sen verran paremmassa kunnossa, että suunnitellut lauantai-illan menot toteutuvat. Nyt vietän iltaa vanhempieni luona, vatsa täynnä nyt meen jo aikaisin nukkumaan, uni tulee tarpeeseen. Ihanat ja toivon mukaan aurinkoiset viikonloput teille kaikille! ♥

Sorry to read that you’ve been having the flu for days and also sleeping problems. I know exactly what you’re talking about since I’m also having lack of sleep any time I’m stressed out or having a flu.

Hi dear! So sorry that you’re unwell. I must say, from a lot of the symptoms you’ve been experiencing lately, I feel you may have to check for adrenal fatigue, the inability to sleep and handle stress, plus the immune system not being as strong could be a sign of this. Lots of times with this issue you think eating better and exercising more would help, but too much exercise can make things worse when your system is fatigued. I speak from experience, since I’ve struggled with this before and it sucks feeling like you never get rest and your always tired or sick. Hope you feel better and make sure to look into this! Lots of great articles and videos online. Xx

I really do hope that everything will work out fine soon. Of course you had some stress with moving and the flu can be a result of this, but I can also recommend you to check your vitamin D-status in the blood, if you get a bad cold often. If it´s too low, it can have a bad effect on your immune system. I also had that last winter, didn´t get enough sunlight to build vitamin D by myself and had some longlasting bronchitis.
And of course: No exercise until you feel absolutely fit again! Staying in bed. If somebody has got the real flu and “overgoes” it, he or she can get heartproblems, also younger people.
I´m looking forward to see the flat when everything is ready. Btw: You also look good in this casual wear!
And last but not least: Haven´t got any strong men to help building up the lockers? 😉 I have got the luck to be married to such a guy. 😀

What a good thing you mentioned the vitamin D, I have it and usually eat it regularly, but now during the summer I’ve forgotten it. And yes exercise is so important to forget when you’re sick, I haven’t been to the gym though at all this past month. But yes being too active can count as exercise too, so resting is important. Now I’m luckily feeling much better already, so my flu took about one week, still a couple days though until I’m 100% back to normal. Thanks again so much for the tips! I wish I had that kind of man in my life to help with building the lockers, but no, haha! xx

Oletko kokeillut unilääkkeitä? Ei kannata päästää uniongelmaa liian pitkälle. Pian aivot sekoo liikaa ja pian et saa unta kuin 1-2h yössä. Kannattaa pyytää lääkäriltä ajoissa unilääkettä

Ai no kiitos Leena! Mä käytän eniten varmaankin Cliniquen putsaria, se iso vihreä pumppupullo (ja kasvovettä samaa sarjaa), ja rasvana joko Vichyn sellainen vaaleansininen apteekeissa myytävä tuubi tai Biothermin geeli. Usein kevyempää geeliä päivisin, ja tuota Vichyn rasvaa öisin. Ruokapostauksia siis lisää! 🙂 Eipä niitä oo muuten pitkään aikaan tullut, ainakaan reseptejä!

These 3 years I worked and I was in abroad for 1 year and I had medical problems. But from September I´m going to university. But I´m 22 years old. Do you think I´m old for school?
