I will do more things I’ve never done before. Being spontaneous makes me feel alive, especially lately (having this new year new me energy) I’ve gotten random ideas popping out of nowhere. (Both work and non work related – just everything random.) I want to write them down, search information about the subjects, learn new and not think about any limits. I can change direction any day I want, I’m not walking any forced path.
I’ll start drawing again. I’ve already looked some drawing class options, now I just need to pick one and start doing. Being creative is what I need. Actually any hobby that is linked to creativity could be something to try.
I will take better care of my health. I don’t mean now any specific diets / workout plans. I mean balance, listening to my body, eating & moving my body intuitively, prioritizing my mental health. Deep down I know what will do good for me, but so often it’s easier to stick to what you know even if it’s harmful. My 2020 started pretty weirdly, almost like I was given a sign to do this resolution. I got some heart symptoms I’ve never experienced before. Almost like panic attack symptoms but which lasted for days. (They are a lot better now.) It was absolutely awful, one night I couldn’t fall asleep at all. Today after spending hours at the doctor they didn’t find any reason, even though they noticed my heart rate wasn’t 100% back to normal. Only thing I was told was to calm down as good as I can. So I’m gonna avoid all stress & negativity as good as I can.
I’ll be more aware of the time I spend on my phone. (Maybe set a daily screen time goal.) Also I will try to avoid negative gossiping. I will not read bad gossips about myself or others online at all. I’ll try digital detoxes, even mini ones.
I’ll try having more regular work hours. (And go to the office more!) 100% work time & 100% relax time.
So here are my resolutions. They say you are more likely to stick to them when you share them, so let’s hope it’s true. Happy 2020 you all ❤️

To come back to your 2020 resolutions, I’ve been surprised to see you say that there are gossips about you. You seems to be like, the nicest person ever so personally, I don’t know nor understand how people can find bad things to say about you!

I definitely feel like it's much easier to stick with resolutions if you write them down. I've done that this year and have stuck with them so far. (Way longer than any year before, haha!)

Tammikuu on yllättävän monille henkisesti hankala kuukausi, vähän sellainen paluu arkeen kaiken tunnelmoinnin jälkeen. Ja usein karmeassa harmaassa kelissä vielä. Itsellä ei varmaan ikinä ole lääkärin vastaanotolla ns. normaalia sykettä kun oon niin jännittynyt lääkärillä käymisestä, että sydän läpättää hulluna! Täysin laitteeton päivä ainoastaan viltin alla maaten saattaa tehdä ihmeitä. <3

About those “panic attacks”… I had symptoms just like yours a year ago. My heart was beating like crazy for two days straight and I was super scared, especially at night. The weird thing was, I didn’t have any big issues in my life so I wasn’t mentally stressed out either.
Here’s what caused my problems: my daily latte. Caffeine is a stimulant and it increases cortisol, the stress hormone. My body could handle it for a long time but ten years down the road even a half espresso shot became too much. As soon as I stopped drinking lattes all the “unexplainable” stress symptoms disappeared. So if you’re still drinking Coca Cola or lattes, this might be a reason to stop.
